Learn How Golf Fore Kids Supports Autism Families

Golf Fore Kids is proud to serve all of Wisconsin. Since 1997, our mission has been to support children through enriching and joyful experiences. Over time, we have focused that mission on helping children with Autism Spectrum Conditions. Today, we support one of the most unique and impactful programs in the state — Camp AweSum in northern Wisconsin.

Camp AweSum is more than just a summer getaway. It’s a place built specifically for children with autism and their families. It provides comfort, safety, and the chance for kids to play, learn, and grow in an environment designed for their needs. Golf Fore Kids works hard to fund this camp, so no child is turned away because of financial hardship.

We raise money through our annual golf tournament, which brings the community together for a great cause. The event includes 18 holes of golf, raffles, a silent auction, prizes, and a dinner to end the day. All proceeds go directly toward funding camp scholarships and hiring trained staff.

The camp requires a large, skilled team to ensure a safe and fun experience. That’s why Golf Fore Kids provides funds for occupational therapists, certified teachers, paraprofessionals, and lifeguards who care for the kids every day. Your support helps us hire and retain these amazing professionals.
